Summary
Embroidered bell pull. Fabric: Linen dyed crimson (originally). Plain weave. Embroidery: Cotton-a-broider, dyed gold, green, pink, pale pink and black, in stem, straight, couching, French knots, creton and back-stitch. Design: Stylised flower and stem meander. Label: Embroidered, 'LMY' and date '1908'. Lining: Pink cotton satin weave interlining. White and black ticking. Trimming: Lining as piping. Wire hook one end, brass catch and ring one end. Structure: Hand sewn.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
