Summary
Coin. An Irish Free State half-crown silver coin. The obverse shows a horse at the centre with an Irish inscription to the left and right and an inscription 2 . 6d below surrounded by a beaded border. The reverse shows a harp at the centre with an inscription 19 to its left and 28 to its right and an Irish inscription to the left and right sides and a beaded border. The edge of the coin is milled.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
