Summary
Coin. An Indian Queen Victoria one rupee silver coin. The obverse shows the crowned head and shoulders of the young Queen Victoria wearing Indian style fabric, facing left and surrounded by an inscription VICTORIA QUEEN with a beaded border. The reverse shows a floriat design surrounding the inscription ONE / RUPEE / INDIA / 1862 with a beaded border. The edge is milled.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
