Summary
Coin. A Kingdom of Hanover 1 Groschen silver coin. The obverse shows a prancing horse facing left across the centre with the inscription KONIGREICH HANNOVER across the top rim. The letter B is at the foot. The reverse shows across the centre the inscription 1 / GROSCHEN / 1864. Around the top edge is the inscription 30 EINEN THALER and SHEIDE MUNZE around the bottom.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
