Summary
Coins. Six German Wilhelm I copper one pfennig coins. The obverse shows an eagle with wings outstretched and a shield on its chest, facing left. There is a crown with ribbons above and the letter D below. The D is the mint letter for Munich. The reverse shows a large, central number 1 and the inscription DEUTCHES REICH 1876 I PFENNIG.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
