Summary
Coin. A British George III copper penny coin. The obverse shows the head of the King facing right, shorter haired & draped bust. There is a beaded border surrounding the King's head with the wording and date indecipherable. the reverse shows Britannia seated facing left surrounded by a beaded border wording indecipherable.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
