Summary
Coin. A French Republic ten centimes, circular, nickel coin with a centrally placed hole. The obverse has the letters R and F positioned either side of the hole and a helmet above. Laurel leaves encircle the lettering just within a beaded border. The reverse shows leaves supporting and surrounding the central hole and the figure ten is on the left of the hole with the letters Cmes on the right. At the top are the words LIBERTIE EGASLITE FRATERNITE within a beaded border, and the date 1921 is at the bottom.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
