Summary
Heraldic shield. A shield, with a brown background, painted onto panelling attached to the ceiling, and surrounded by a rectangular, wooden frame. The white shield bears a diagonal blue band with the heads of three grey wolves on it. At the top of the shield, in the centre, there is a red left hand, and just below this a grey crescent. There is an inscription above and below the shield.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
