Summary
Heraldic shield. A shield, with a brown background, painted onto panelling attached to the ceiling, and surrounded by a rectangular, wooden frame. The red shield bears three boars' heads in gold. There is an inscription above and below the shield.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
