Summary
Christmas card. A folded Christmas card with a paper insert fastened together with dark blue cord. The picture on the front is of a lady customer at the fishmongers with his fish cart. His cart advertises "Best fish daily" and he is holding up a large, clearly very smelly fish for the customer to buy. She is holding her nose, objecting to the smell. The predominant colours on the card are orange, dark and pale blue and cream / white. "All the best" is printed above the picture.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
