Summary
Breeching. A heavy horse breeching strap, made of two layers of leather stitched with cream cord in a decorative pattern. At one end is a metal chain, with six large links and nine small links, and one loop attached through a metal bolt to leather doubled back over it. At the other end the leather is broken. Another leather strap is attached through a slit in the main strap, and has a decorative metal buckle. There is a slit on the other side.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
