Summary
Bicycle. A bamboo-framed safety bicycle with aluminium castings. It has two wheels with wooden mud-guards, which have metal studs on the back. The right handlebar, from a front view, is decorated with bone edges and the front wheel below is broken. The black leather saddle is padded with horsehair and has metal springs at the back edges.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
