Summary
Leather case. A cylindrical case in red leather, edged with an ivory silk, plaited cord. It is lined with ivory silk satin and contains patchwork hexagons in red cotton encasing card. The initial V is at either end and it is almost certainly belonged to and was worked by Victoria Yorke.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
