Summary
Work box. A wicker work box originally woven in red and black with a beige patterned lining. The lining is of satin weave, with a diamond pattern enclosing a flower head, and is handsewn into the basket.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
