Summary
Work Box. A circular work box. Base and sides of card, sides covered in green, red, yellow and brown wool cross stitch forming a greek key pattern, sewn on undyed canvas. Lined with beige gláced cotton. Base covered in red felt. Green cord around the top of the box. Above the box, red cotton is sewn in to form a drawstring top. Pink ribbon is threaded through the casing.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
