Summary
Envelope. An embroidered, dark red damask folder with a bird and leaf design. The initials 'P.Y.' are embroidered in the lower right hand corner with silk, couched satin stitch, and metal thread. The blue satin weave lining over the card is hand sewn and the folder contains two white envelopes of unknown date.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
