Summary

Blotter. A blue leather blotter with a pale gold, silk satin weave lining trimmed with gold braid. The lining has embroidered appliqued, printed cotton on a shield-shaped background on both sides. The blotting paper is attached with blue ribbon.

Provenance

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
