Summary
Purse. A late 19th century purse in crimson, yellow and green figured silk on the outside and a green spot patterned silk lining. The purse is formed from four pieces bound by gilt metallic thread. There are bound eyelet holes on the top with a yellow silk drawstring cord and silk and metallic thread.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
