Summary
Tea cosy. A tea cosy, very soiled, coloured jacquard woven. Cotton warps and wefts dyed brown, black, pink, blue, and buff. On one side there is a design of landscape with trees and a large house. The reverse is plain russet rayon - woven, lining of light brown cotton. Trimmed with very soiled cord, hand sewn over cotton waste wadding. The lining has been darned to repair.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
