Summary
A storage jug with handle. A stoneware, cylindrical jug with straight sides and then a slope to a lipped top. The outside has a two-toned glaze, with the lower part being clear and a tan colour over the top third. The jug holds one gallon, having the number 1 impressed underneath the lip.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
