Summary
A saw vice. A saw vice consisting of two pine blocks joined with a leather hinge at the end. It is operated by a metal screw with a metal rod through the head of the screw for adjustment. There are square metal plates on opposite sides of the block support screw. There are also leather strips along the lips of the block, which are used to hold saws for sharpening.
