Summary
Mower - A cylindrical 'Pony Mower', powered by a pony/donkey at the front and steered by a gardener at the back. Comprising one large metal roller (in two halves) and four small metal rollers behind and in front of a six spiral bladed cylinder. There are wooden boards at the front to protect pony's legs, a hand-brake handle and turned wood handles. There is a metal bracket, with a cut out heart design, to attach the harness to, and a mechanism to adjust the height of the blades.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
