Summary
Hot water bottle. Ceramic hot water bottle with stopper, which is fused in, and washer. It has an arched design, has a knob on one side and is beige in colour. The clear glaze is on all surfaces except on opposite knob, which is unglazed, showing maker mark DENBY. There is a Leaf design around the stopper and incised on the stopper. The knob has some small leaf type.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
