Summary
Surplice. A white, plain weave cotton surplice dated 1930-70 (circa). Two-part metal button blank with white cotton covering. Machine sewn throughout. A woven label 'Ryder and Amies, Cambridge' and inscribed 'W.R.Littleton'. Condition good. Laundry marks at collar.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
