Summary
Baby's gown. A baby's long gown dated 1905. Fabric of bleached cotton, plain weave. Trimmed with embroidered insertions, muslin white work, feather, satin, stem and eyelets. Hand sewn, edged on neck, sleeves and hem, short bodice, back fastening with two buttonholes; one button (one button missing) pin gathered skirt to bodice. Said to be Philip Yorke III's christening gown.
