Bow tie. Half of a bow tie dated 1940 (circa). Fabric of magenta silk warp, black cotton weft, warp faced satin, ridge. Machine sewn. Worn. Found with dress making fragments.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
