Summary
Jacket; Blazer. A blazer dated Cambridge 1929 (circa)? Fabric of navy blue wool raised nap. Trimmed with blue, red and metal bullion worked badge for Cambridge 'INCTUS-SY-RECTE-NE-LABORE'; seven brass buttons and buttonholes. Label on coathanger 'A.G.Almond Ltd.,/11 Sidnet Street, Cambridge' and hand written P.Yorke'. Hand and machine sewn, indented revers, three pockets.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
