Summary
School cap. A Cambridge school cap dated 1910 (circa). Fabric of pink/red wool, raised nap. Trimmed with cream silk piping; cream silk, black cotton embroidered badge, crossed cricket bats and the initials 'CCC'. Lined with undyed cotton, satin weave. Label of Supplier 'J.T. Masters. Cambridge'. Hand and machine sewn.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
