Summary

Collar. A honiton lace collar dated 1900 (circa) from Devon. Fabric of white cotton bobbin lace. Design of characteristic flowers with rolled cordonnet; heading follows design. Trimmed with cotton net edging at neck. Found in hat box with other personal items belonging to Mrs Louisa Yorke.

Provenance

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
