Hat. A soft felt hat dated 1940-50. Fabric of black felt, raised nap. Trimmed with top stitching; black petersham ribbon and bow. Lined with brown velvet, black padding, black synthetic plain weave. Hand and machine sewn.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
