Summary
Bodice. A beaded bodice dated 1930 (circa). Fabric of black cotton, plain weave, open mesh. Embroidery of silver sequins and bugle beads, tamboured. Design of vertical lines with flower motif centre front. Hand sewn, weighted at four points. Label 'Made in Paris' and '46'.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
