Summary
Day jacket. A day jacket with matching dress, dated 1940 (circa). Made of a fabric of black resist dyed white rayon crepe with a flower head design; and black rayon crepe, twill weave ridge, satin on reverse. Trimmed with two black buttons; two pockets (flaps only); and two inside pockets. Weighted hem. Laundry marks.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
