Summary
Umbrella. Parasol. A black painted parasol dated 1920 (circa). Fabric of black cotton crepe 'georgette' painted in shades of green, brown and mauve. The design is of Wisteria and Butterfly. Stick and ferule are made of wood. Ribs and stretchers with a metal U in cross section and covered in georgette. Trimmed with black twisted cord with two bobbles. Lined with self fabric.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
