Sash. A silk sash dated 1903, the fabric being of pale turquoise silk twill weave, with a hand knotted decorative fringe of plied pale turquoise silk. Machine sewn with a handwritten label 'Baby Simon 1903- Blue Sash'.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
