Summary
Baby's gown. A white cotton, plain weave baby's long gown dated 1903-05. Embroidered with white cotton feather stitch and pulled work whipping, satin, buttonhole, herringbone and needleweaving; insertions and a scalloped edge to hem; and with bobbin lace insertion and edging. Trimmed with white cotton bobbin lace edging; and two buttons. Machine and handsewn seams and tucks.
