Summary
Baby's gown. A white cotton baby's long gown dated 1903-05. Fabric of white cotton, plain weave. Embroidered with white cotton feather stitch; white pulled work, whipping, satin, buttonhole, herringbone and needleweaving. Insertions include a scalloped edge to the hem and with border; and with Bobbin lace insertion and edging. Trimmed with white cotton bobbin lace with edgings and two buttons. Handsewn.

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
