Summary

Trousers. A pair of black wool trousers dated 1930 (circa) with raised nap and trimmed with eleven black buttons. Lined with cream cotton, satin weave, blue printed stripe; black cotton twill weave; and cream cotton, twill weave. Hand and machine sewn.

Provenance

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
