Summary
Dress lounge jacket. A black worsted plain weave 'barathea' dress lounge jacket dated 1930 (circa). It is trimmed with black silk moire finish revers and cuffs; ten black satin covered buttons; a coathanger; two flapped hip pockets; and two inside breast pockets. The jacket is lined with a black silk satin weave; a black cotton twill weave; and an ivory blue and red satin weave with a woven stripe. It is hand and machine sewn.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
