Summary
Lounge suit jacket. A black and grey mixture, worsted twill weave check, lounge suit jacket. Trimmed with one breast pocket, two flapped hip pockets, two inside pockets, a coat hanger, and eleven grey buttons. Lined with grey silk satin weave and white, blue, ivory and red synthetic woven stripe. Hand and machine sewn. There is a label reading 'CHROBOK and ROMANIK LADIES AND GENTS TAILORS. WREXHAM.', and also one handwritten reading 'SQUIRE YORD(?) 1.7.63. 1120'.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
