Summary
Taxidermy. Two stuffed, common sandpipers (Actitus hypoleucos) mounted in a glass box. The label on the reverse of the case reads 'Sandpipers shot/by Mr.S.Yorke near Erthig May 6th 1829'.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
