Summary
Taxidermy display case - a red squirrel, two bullfinches (male and female) and three peacock butterflies in a glass case with with newspaper affixed to the reverse 'The Chester Guardian and Cambrian Intelligencer', dated 1822.
Provenance
Shot on the Erddig Estate by Simon Yorke III and his brother Genl.John Yorke, c.1800-1830. Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
