Carpet fragment. A fragment of flat woven 'Scotch' or Ingrain carpet, dating from the early 19th century, with a design of a trellis pattern in scarlet and black with a border (on one side) of gold and black.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
