Summary
Napkin. One of two white cotton damask napkins with neo-classical design border of swags and medallions against a diapered backgrounds. The border design contains swags and medallions. The structure is of a length of damask, turned under at the ends and hemmed with a row of machine lockstitch. A woven label tape reading A. VOSPER is hand sewn into one corner.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
