Summary
Day bed cover. Cover of plain weave linen printed red, pink, blue, yellow (over printed for green), with a repeat of 52 x 38 cm of vertical bands of flower sprays tied with ribbons and twisted ribbons of lace on a sprigged ground. it is trimmed with scalloped braid of cotton with wool dyed green, peach, blue, red and cream, brocaded and looped as edging and has a flower self fabric edging 28cm deep. It is lined with white cotton, printed in blue, pink plain weave cotton and red glazed plain weave linen. The textile is tacked to the wooden frame.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
