Summary
Textile fragment. Fragment of plain weave linen printed red, pink, blue, yellow (over printed for green), with a repeat of 52 x 38 cm of vertical bands of flower sprays tied with ribbons and twisted ribbons of lace on a sprigged ground. It is trimmed with scalloped braid of cotton with wool dyed green, peach, blue, red and cream, brocaded and looped 25mm wide as edging and has a flower self fabric 280mm wide edging. It is lined with undyed plain weave cotton and is edged on three side, cut or frayed, hand and machine sewn.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
