Summary
Curtain fragment. Fragment of plain weave linen printed red, pink, blue, yellow (over printed for green), with a repeat of 52 x 38 cm of vertical bands of flower sprays tied with ribbons and twisted ribbons of lace on a sprigged ground. It is trimmed with cotton with wool scalloped braid dyed green, peach, blue, red and cream, brocaded and looped 25mm as edging and has a 25mm wide linen tape heading band.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
