Summary
A curtain, one of a pair and part of a set of five and one single curtain, made by the textiles workshop at Erddig in 1976-7. Full length, red moiré wool curtains. Made to match the original, early 18th century pelmets (1156571). The fabric is crimson worsted plain weave, moire finished and the lining is a cotton twill weave. The curtains are hand and machine sewn, gathered into a heading band and rings and hemmed on three sides.
