Summary

A rectangular gate pier, one of a pair, made of light coloured sandstone. Moulded plinth and cap with square 'die' columns. Light carvings of cornucopia and insignia in sunken panels on the north and south faces of the die. West pier, south end of drive.

Provenance

Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
