Summary
Chalice. A silver-plated chalice, the tulip-shaped bowl decorated with religious motifs of female saints, vine and corn sheaves, on a knopped stem, all heavily embossed with cherubs. The base has three panels of the crucifixion and cherubs.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
