Summary
Frame. A wood and bamboo frame contained within a wooden case, comprising; two wooden pieces with fine ropes attached; six bamboo poles with brass fittings; two brass ended bamboo poles with hooks attached; four bamboo poles and four brass and metal corner pieces. ? a screen frame. There is a small label on the case showing 'A.Franks Optician and Photographic Dealer Manchester Liverpool and Hull'.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
